Employers can visit our Certificate Verification page, enter the certificate number found on the certificate, and instantly see the student's name, course completed, and issue date. No account or login is required.

Aligned Career Training is an independent education provider. We are not accredited by a national or regional accrediting body, and our certificates of completion are not issued by a third-party credentialing organization. Our courses are designed to prepare you for the workplace and, where applicable, to help you study for external certification or licensing exams administered by recognized credentialing bodies. The certificate you receive from us confirms that you completed the training program — it is not a professional license or national certification.

Aligned Career Training offers two types of courses. Certificate of Completion courses cover safety, compliance, and skills-based training (such as HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA, and CPR). When you finish one of these, you receive a Certificate of Completion that you can share with employers as proof of your training.

Exam Prep courses are designed to help you study for and pass an external licensing or credentialing exam — such as the EKG Technician (CET), Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA), Medical Billing & Coding (CBCS), or PMP exams. Completing an exam prep course earns you a Certificate of Completion for the training program itself, but the professional credential (license or certification) is issued separately by the relevant credentialing body after you pass their official exam.

All course cards on our Courses page are labeled so you always know which type you are purchasing.

Our courses provide training and proof of completion through a certificate. Some careers require separate licensing through a state or national body. Our exam prep courses are designed to help you prepare for those licensing or certification exams, but the exams themselves are administered by their respective organizations.

When a certificate is verified, the following information is displayed: student name, course completed, issue date, and certificate ID.

It depends on the course. Certificate of Completion courses (such as HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA, CPR, and most compliance and skills-based courses) award a certificate immediately after you pass the final exam — no outside body is involved.

Exam Prep courses (such as EKG Technician, Pharmacy Technician, CMAA, CBCS, PMP, Security+, and others) prepare you to sit for an external national or state exam administered by a separate credentialing organization. Completing our exam prep course earns you a Certificate of Completion for the training, but the professional credential or license is issued by that external body after you pass their official exam.

Most of our courses have no prerequisites — you can enroll and start immediately regardless of your education background.

However, some national credentialing exams that our exam prep courses prepare you for do have their own eligibility requirements set by the credentialing body. For example, the NHA CET (EKG Technician) and NHA CMAA (Medical Administrative Assistant) exams require candidates to meet certain criteria before registering for the official exam. These requirements are set by the credentialing organization — not by Aligned Career Training — and are separate from completing our training program.

We recommend reviewing the eligibility requirements of the relevant credentialing body before purchasing an exam prep course if you are unsure whether you qualify to sit for the external exam.

No. The price you pay to Aligned Career Training covers access to our training program only. Fees to register for and sit for any external national or state exam (such as NHA, CompTIA, PMI, PTCE, or state licensing exams) are separate and paid directly to the credentialing or licensing organization. Exam fees vary by organization and are not collected by Aligned Career Training.

Course access is lifetime. Once you purchase a course, you can log in and review the material at any time — there is no expiration date on your access. This includes the ability to retake the final exam if needed.

Our courses are currently offered in English only. However, if you need assistance in Spanish, you are welcome to contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to help. We are actively evaluating Spanish-language course options for the future.

You can retake the final exam as many times as needed — there is no limit on retakes and no additional fee. The passing score is 80%. We recommend reviewing the course material before each attempt. Your certificate is issued automatically as soon as you achieve a passing score.

Certificates are issued instantly upon passing the final exam for all Certificate of Completion courses — including HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA, CPR, and all other compliance and skills-based courses.

For Exam Prep courses, you also receive a Certificate of Completion instantly after passing our final exam. However, the professional credential or license you are studying for is issued separately by the external credentialing body after you pass their official exam — that process is outside our platform and timeline.
